Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These Terms govern your use of ProtectMyMail, a browser plugin and service operated by Advanced Creative AI Technology - FZCO ("ACAI Technology", "we", "us"), a free-zone company registered at IFZA Business Park, DDP, PO Box 342001, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Licence No. 6255). By installing or using ProtectMyMail, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
ProtectMyMail adds end-to-end encryption and verified senders inside your existing email (Gmail, Outlook or any IMAP inbox). An optional malware and phishing Scan add-on is planned and not yet available (coming soon). It works as a browser extension; you keep your current email address and provider.
ProtectMyMail is currently early Beta software. It has not had an independent security audit, and there is no mobile version yet.
2. Eligibility & your account
You must be able to form a binding contract to use ProtectMyMail. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and encryption keys safe, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscription, billing & cancellation
- New accounts start with a 4-week free trial. Unless you cancel during the trial, the plan then converts to a paid subscription at the price shown before you subscribe.
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan then runs until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed.
- Payments are handled by our payment processor. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
- Statutory withdrawal or refund rights that apply to you under mandatory consumer law are unaffected by these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you will not use ProtectMyMail to send spam or unlawful content, to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to attack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or its security. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Your content & encryption
Your messages and attachments are encrypted on your device. We do not hold your keys and cannot read, recover, or restore your encrypted content. If you lose your keys or recovery method, we may be unable to help you regain access. You are responsible for the content you send and for keeping your recovery details safe.
6. Third-party services
ProtectMyMail works on top of your existing email provider and other third-party services. We are not responsible for those services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
7. Intellectual property
ProtectMyMail, its software, brand and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these Terms. You may not copy, resell or create derivative works except as allowed by law.
We work hard to protect your mail, but no system is perfectly secure. Where a message is sent to someone without the plugin, protection may be reduced to standard transport security — the product tells you when this happens so you can choose.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", and is currently early Beta software that has not had an independent security audit. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect or block every threat. You should not rely on it as your only safeguard for anything critical.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from lost keys. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death, personal injury, or fraud.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes or the law requires. We will post the new version here with an updated date and, for significant changes, tell you in the product. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the competent courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
