Desktop app (recommended)

Works with Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, or webmail. No plugin, no installer. It can also protect everything you send automatically.

How to install

Windows

  1. Open the downloaded file.
  2. If Windows warns, click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway.

macOS

  1. Drag ProtectMyMail to Applications.
  2. Open it.
  3. Allow it under System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Open Anyway.

Linux

  1. Make it executable (chmod +x).
  2. Run it.
  3. Confirm the first launch if asked.

Browser plugin - Gmail and Outlook on the web

Banners appear on your messages by themselves; two buttons appear when you write one.

How to load the extension
  1. Download & unzip.
  2. Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions).
  3. Turn on Developer mode.
  4. Click Load unpacked and pick the folder.

Store listings for the Chrome Web Store and Edge Add-ons follow at launch. Firefox is planned.
