Download
Get ProtectMyMail.
Two ways to run it: the desktop app for your mail program, or the browser plugin for Gmail and Outlook on the web.
Desktop app (recommended)
Works with Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, or webmail. No plugin, no installer. It can also protect everything you send automatically.
How to install
Windows
- Open the downloaded file.
- If Windows warns, click More info.
- Click Run anyway.
macOS
- Drag ProtectMyMail to Applications.
- Open it.
- Allow it under System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Open Anyway.
Linux
- Make it executable (
chmod +x). - Run it.
- Confirm the first launch if asked.
Not code-signed yet, so your system asks you to confirm the first time. The step-by-step guide above shows exactly which button to click.
